This voicethread project was much simpler for me than it was to use the publishing site! The instruction video helped me to know the general idea of how to use the website. I think I would like to use this website in my future classroom because it seems simple to use and also it's a creative way to publish stories. Using voicethread to publish could also help shyer or quiet students feel more comfortable sharing their works with the class because they can let the video do some talking for them. Voicethread can also help students create audio recordings to present knowledge which falls under the Common Core Speaking and Listening Standards. It would also involve using 21st century skills of using technology to create a voicethread book. So this project could kill more than two birds with one stone with a project based on other standards or objectives! Overall, this project was simple and easy to create, making it a tool I would hope to use in my classroom in the future.
